Worship, Advent 4C

On 19th December, the fourth Sunday of Advent, Helen welcomed us to worship.  We heard from Luke 1: 39-45, finding Elizabeth, well past the age of child bearing, and Mary, a teenager. This is “secret women’s business”. Both with the miracle of particles joining together to form babies who will turn the world upside down. The second reading also from Luke 1: 46-55, Mary’s wonderful song to God, known as the “Magnificat.”
