On 28th November Kirsty welcomed us to the first Sunday of Advent – ‘Hear we are already, looking forward with hope’.
The theme this Advent is ‘Finding our voice’ and each Sunday we will focus on stories from the Olive Way and artwork from our recent ‘Emergence’ exhibition. We saw pieces by Catherine Lesley and Colin Hunter which provided a starting point for our prayers of Adoration and Confession, as well as the artwork ‘Tranquility’ by Bev Evans. Bev’s work features on the front cover of the booklet ‘With Open Arms’, a collection of stories from the Olive Way which we received on your way in and was blessed in the service.
