Climate Action

Climate Action Group
The Brunswick Uniting Church Justice and Mission group (JAM) is inviting members of the congregation to join and help lead a Climate Action Group. The key purposes of this group will be to:
  • Assist existing groups within BUC to provide a coordinated approach to actions involving climate change
  • Inform the congregation about climate change actions within the congregation and the wider community and encourage involvement in these actions
  • Help the congregation to consider declaring a Climate Emergency.
JAM would particularly welcome interest from those who will suffer the most in the future from this generation’s lack of action. If you are interested please contact Richard Arnold on richarn50@gmail.comor mobile 0407 796 429. There will be an initial meeting of the BUC Climate Action Group after worship on Sunday 29th September.
