Season of Creation
Beginning on 22nd September and through until 20th October our worship will be shaped by reflection on and engagement with creation. Our exhibition ‘Let the earth speak’ will provide inspiration for this season of worship.

Working Bee & Lunch
Our third and final working bee for the year will be held after worship on Sunday 13th October. The Property Committee will have a list of tasks to complete. Many hands makes light work. Join in the fun. Bring gloves and whatever other equipment you think will be useful.

Power, Authority, Love
Australian Collaborators in Feminist Theologies with the University of Divinity are pleased to host their annual conference 11-12 October 2019 at the Centre for Theology & Ministry. This year’s theme is Power, Authority, Love.
Power of Country Tour – Melbourne
Stand with First Nations communities that are on the frontline of the climate justice fight next Thursday at the Power of Country tour – Melbourne, and hear directly from Traditional Owners fighting fracking in the Northern Territory. This event is being organised by a bunch of incredible organisations standing up to dangerous fracking, including Seed Mob, Lock the Gate, AYCC, Original Power and others.

Brunswick Ball Trust dinner
Everyone is invited to the Brunswick Ball Trust fundraising dinner ‘La dolce vita alla Brunswick’ supporting the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre at the Abruzzo Club on Saturday 12th October, 7pm. The Brunswick Uniting Church Justice and Mission group (JAM) is inviting members of the congregation to join and help lead a Climate Action Group. The key purposes of this group will be to:
- Assist existing groups within BUC to provide a coordinated approach to actions involving climate change
- Inform the congregation about climate change actions within the congregation and the wider community and encourage involvement in these actions
- Help the congregation to consider declaring a Climate Emergency.
