Presbytery Elections
Everyone is invited to consider nominating for one of the many positions within the Presbytery of Port Philip West organisation including leadership roles and committees.

Christmas Eve Pageant
Do you have plans for Christmas Eve?  We are looking for cast members for our pageant.  The pageant will be offered at 7pm.  We have a fabulous script written by Rohan Hudson.  We’d love to hear from anyone who can help out as either a cast or crew member – send Cath an email.  We also form a choir to sing two items on the night – send Elaine an email if you would like join the choir.  All ages welcome.

Family Camp – Save the date
March 8 – 11 2024
The presbytery of Port Philip West is running a family camp at Norval Lodge in Halls Gap on the March long weekend next year.
I am part of the organising team and am currently looking to see if families will be around that weekend and interested in attending.
The program will be a lot like our church family camp.  Contact Cath if you’re in any way interested.

Act2 Discussion forum
Everyone is invited to join Church Council members in an important discussion about the future of the Uniting Church after worship on 19th November. Members with experience of Presbytery, Synod, UCA agencies, and congregations in other places are especially welcome – we’d love to hear your wisdom!  If you can, please have a look beforehand at the Act2 report “In Response to God’s Call”.

Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival
On Sunday November 19, 2023 (12pm-4:30pm), the Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival will be held at Coburg Town Hall, 90 Bell Street, Coburg Victoria. The Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival is the largest annual interfaith gathering held in Victoria, bringing together the state’s diverse faith communities.  Jenne Perlstein, member of BUC and the Interfaith Networks formally invites and encourages us to attend and participate in this free catered event.  Volunteers are needed to support this important event.  Contact Jenne if you can offer your time.
