Dear Brunswick Uniting  Church Council and Groups

On Sunday November 19, 2023 (12pm-4:30pm), the Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival will be held at Coburg Town Hall, 90 Bell Street, Coburg Victoria.

The Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival is the largest annual interfaith gathering held in Victoria, bringing together the state’s diverse faith communities.  As an appreciated member of our community, I would formally like to invite you to this free catered event.

The event has previously been hosted by the City of Port Phillip (2011), City of Yarra (2012), City of Moonee Valley (2013), City of Monash (2014), City of Kingston (2015), City of Darebin (2016), City of Greater Bendigo (2017), City of Brimbank (2018), City of Greater Dandenong (2019), City of Melton (2020), City of Wyndham (2021), and City of Boroondara (2022).

In 2023 the event will be co-hosted by City of Merri-bek and Merri-bek Interfaith Network, in partnership with the Faith Communities Council of Victoria.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Uncle Andrew Gardiner, Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Elder and First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria. Uncle Andrew will speak on Voice, Treaty and Truth covering the Uluru Statement from the Heart, the Voice Referendum, Treaty for Victoria and the Truth and Reconciliation Process.
