Sunday 2nd May – We will offer a blessing for the recent marriage of Steph Gesling & Matt Whitty

Morning Tea
We are looking forward to providing food with morning tea after worship on Sundays.  COVID safe guidelines are being prepared.  If you would like to be a food provider or to add you name to the list of helpers to support our renewed hospitality please email saide.cameron@bigpond.com.  Please note that you can be a food provider only and not need to be involved in setting up, serving and cleaning up.

Name Tags
We started bringing the name tags out of storage late in March.  As part of our COVID safe awareness you are asked to pick yours up from the bench, wear it, take it home and bring it back again to wear next time you come to worship.  while we continue to wear our masks during worship using name tags will help us to greet each other by name whether we have been part of the congregation for a long time our have joined more recently.  If you would like a name tag made for you please email saide.cameron@bigpond.com and also request your preferred colour (red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple or pink).

INVITATION to New Study Group
Are you interested in joining a small group with others who wish to – delve into the Bible, read and discuss a book, follow up on the sermon topic, see how our social justice projects align with the teachings of Jesus, or?  If this interests you, we are having an initial catch-up after worship on Sunday May 9th in the Hall when we can discuss frequency and venue for the group.  Any queries please contact Kirsty Brown 0410 510 305 or Helen Rowe 0423 009 813. This initiative is supported by the Discipleship and Education Committee.

May Olive Branch
Our next monthly newsletter will be published on Sunday 2nd May.  Please send your reports, stories, news, notices, photos and other contributions to saide.cameron@bigpond.com by Monday 26th April.

If you switch to Powershop before 30 April, you and BUC will each get a $150 referral bonus. Their normal supply is “net carbon neutral” (using renewable energy and accredited carbon offsets), and you can optionally pay a premium for 100% GreenPower (which increases the demand for renewable energy).
