Liz Johnson – Artist Spotlight

The BUC ARTS committee is very excited to extend an invitation to our first Artist Talk on Zoom to celebrate the EMERGENCE art exhibition 2021

We will be featuring Liz Johnson – a wonderful visual artist working with materials such as charcoal, pastel, watercolour, pen and ink. Liz works mainly outdoors and draws inspiration from nature. She has been exhibiting her landscapes and still life pictures since 2006.

Liz is also a friend to many of us at BUC and together with Beth Shelton reviewed the arts ministry at Brunswick Uniting in 2018. She was also the facilitator for our arts DREAMING day also in 2018 and brought energy and inspiration to our well attended event. She has been part of the journey with us so far!

We are delighted to welcome her on Zoom, to view her presentation and hear her speak about making art during extended periods of lockdown and how creativity gave her freedom and sustenance during that time.
