Book Club at BUC

Facilitated by Jeanette Acland, online via Zoom

Hector Hugh Munro, published under his literary pseudonym, Saki. Our focus for discussion in our October meeting will be his collection of short stories The Toys of Peace and other papers originally published 1919. The collection includes The Toys of Death, The Wolves of Cernogratz, The Phantom Luncheon, and a variety of other engaging pieces. 

In these stories Saki delights in exposing the hypocrisy and ridiculousness of Edwardian society.
