Book Club at BUC

The Book Club focus for discussion in May will be the 2019 Booker Prize winner, Girl, Woman, Other: a novel by Bernardine Evaristo.

Teeming with energy, humour and heart, this is a love song to black Britain told by twelve vastly different, unforgettable characters. Each is looking for something – a shared past, an unexpected future, a place to call home, somewhere to fit in, a lover, a missed mother, a lost father, even just a touch of hope.
