Ash Wednesday

Join us for worship on Ash Wednesday where we mark the beginning of Lent. This will be a time of reflection and preparation. We will walk and pray and receive the symbol of the ash.

Traditionally the season of Lent is a time marked by spiritual disciplines of fasting and giving and also repentance, a time of going in, when we examine our own hearts. It is also a time to grow in faith through reading and meditation.

This year we will focus on turning away from those things that keep us from God’s love and turn towards those things that keep us connected and restored and in right relationship.
