Rise Up – Week of Climate Action

MAY 2024 WEEK OF ACTION

Sunday 5 May Join our worship service focussing on the wisdom of First Peoples and caring for the Earth. Mick Pope and Safina Stewart will lead our worship.
At the conclusion we will gather around the bell tower in the old church and ring the bell.
After worship there will be Table Groups where people can have input to the BUC Climate Action Plan update.
There will also be cards for people to sign and send, calling for an end to fossil fuels.

Thurs 9 May Public Rally “Rise Up” supported by ACF and 350.org  Treasury Place East Melbourne 12 noon

Saturday 11 May UCAN Uniting Climate Conference (Sydney) by Zoom 9 am to 4 pm. Register here.
