Worship is enriched when we engage all our senses. We welcome and value the contribution of a wide range of creative arts in worship.
We believe that worship is enriched when we engage all our senses, and so we welcome and value the contribution of a wide range of creative arts in worship.
Over the years this has included music, banners, sculptures, installations, felting, drawing, painting, story telling, drama and dance.
The Liturgical calendar begins with the Advent season of preparation. Each year we gain new insights and understandings through our creative exploration of the themes of hope, peace, joy and love. As the season draws to a close we turn our attention to our celebration of the birth of Christ through our series of Christmas services.
Celebrating creativity
The longing to live in harmony with all creation allows for a creative response to God’s love to emerge through our worship. This happens in ways both natural and intentional.
