On Sunday 23rd May, Pentecost Sunday, we sang songs and listened to the Bible readings and prayers in many languages, remembering that on this day the gift of the Holy Spirit allowed God’s message of love to be heard by many people in their own language. Ian invited us to reflect on the language that God speaks. We greeted one another with the word of greeting and welcome from the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people – Wominjeka. Enjoy this feast of languages.
