On Sunday 23rd May, Pentecost Sunday, we sang songs and listened to the Bible readings and prayers in many languages, remembering that on this day the gift of the Holy Spirit allowed God’s message of love to be heard by many people in their own language.  Ian invited us to reflect on the language that God speaks.  We greeted one another with the word of greeting and welcome from the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people – Wominjeka.  Enjoy this feast of languages.

Just a note that there are a few glitches in the livestream.

On the Day of Pentecost one of the great miracles of the Spirit of God was manifested in various languages. The UCA National Assembly shares this video as part of the series reflecting on the Identity of the Uniting Church.
