Worship, 29/5, Reconciliation Sunday

Jenne Perlstein welcomed us to worship on 29th May.  Today in National Reconciliation Week we are asked to, “Be Brave. Make Change.” First Nations people are asking everyone to make change beginning with brave actions in their daily lives – where they live, work, play and socialise. To help us engage with this theme today we heard Jesus’ prayer for unity among his people in John 17, and went to prison with Paul and Silas in Acts 16 to learn about liberation. As Second peoples, we are being liberated by God to walk in unity beside First Nations Peoples on the path to justice.
