Worship 15/5, Easter 5C

Helen Burnham welcomed us to worship on 15th May.  We heard from John 13: 31-35 in which Jesus gives us a new, revolutionary Commandment. And from Acts 11: 1-18, where Peter is accused of breaking the Jewish laws by eating with Gentiles. Peter replies with a radical word of inclusiveness, “You yourselves know that it is unlawful for a Jew to associate with or to visit a Gentile; but God has shown me that I should not call anyone profane or unclean.”
