Worship 13/3, Lent 2

Saide Cameron welcomed us for worship on 13th March the second Sunday in the season of Lent.  We encountered Peter making his well-known denial of Jesus, his time of trial and we remembered our whole world in this time of trial – war, pandemic, climate change, loss and sorrow.  We held a rock during worship, a symbol of hard places but also of refuge and following the prayers of the people placed it with one paintings.

Ian offered his reflection via a Zoom recording, created before sunrise this morning.  The Student House Blessing was postponed.  We sang the planned for blessing ‘For you deep stillness’ for everyone is feeling unwell or sad.
