From the moment doors opened on Saturday 9th June at 12noon, the Olive Way filled with the sound of needles clicking and conversations around communal tables. Over 65 people enjoyed four hours of knitting beanies, scarves and fingerless mitts for KOGO ( Knit One Give One). A KOGO volunteer was laden with four bags of knitted items when she left at 4pm. There are still more to come!

A huge thank you to our wonderful community for welcoming and providing hospitality and warmth to everyone. From a welcoming smile through to hot soups, bread, pastries and home made afternoon tea delights – a community of care was created. The ideal environment for making and sharing. Thank you everyone for an inspiring afternoon for WWKIP 2018
