Cath James welcomed us to worship on 9th August. Our worship was offered as a more reflective service. Instead of a ermon we were invited into a time of imaginative reflection about the story of Jesus and Peter walking on the water. We spent some time together in silent prayer and there was an opportunity to engage in a range of ways of praying for others and the world.

Prayers of the people – Stations

We were invited to engage with a series of stations as we prayed for others
- Lighting tapers
- Making origami cranes – prayers for peace and the world as you fold
- Walking on water – blue cloth, slowly, each step you might like to bring to mind a situation in the world
- Journalling, drawing – write or draw bluntly, honestly about what is there in your heart and invite God in
