Background and details of the event, offered by Jenne Perlstein
Sometime ago members of the First Nations Justice Merri-bek, of which I am a member, indicated they would like to know more about the Wurundjeri people who occupied and lived on the land we as Second Peoples occupy in Brunswick and surrounds. It came up at the BUC First Nations Focus as well, in the context of the Cultural Awareness Education. I mentioned the idea of such an event to both groups thus the above event has eventuated.
