Olive Pesto – Mid-Wintercraft Meetup
Make, Learn, Laugh, Give – You are invited to the Brunswick UC’s “Craft Connection” Mid-Wintercraft Meetup on Saturday 7th July, 10am-noon in the Youth Hall. Bring what you love to do or try ‘something new’. Being Mid-Winter, the Olive Pesto team will be serving heart-warming Gluhwein and Biscotti/ Panforte.
Join in the fun of the next BUC Cycle ride after worship on Sunday 8th July. Ride your bike to church, bring your lycra (optional) and be ready to participate in a gently paced 30km ride with a stop for icercream or coffee along the way. Pop-up Op-Shop at the Bush Dance
One of the features of the evening will be the return of Helen Burnham’s much loved Pop-up Op-Shop. Start hunting through your cupboards and wardrobes for items that you no longer want or need. Auction at the Bush Dance
Another feature on the evening will be a silent auction. We are seeking donations from local business as a way of raising awareness about the work of the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre. Please print out a few copies of the letter or collect some at worship, sign your name at the bottom, include your phone number and take them to wherever you shop, have a coffee or go out for lunch and negotiate a donation. Are you interested in having a quarterly daily devotion guide that provides a reflection on the next Sunday’s lectionary? Faye Findlay will be collecting $10 from anyone interested in a remaining two quarterly copies due out in August and November. Please speak to Faye on Sunday 8th or 15th.

Keeping Children Safe
You are invited to be part of a safe place! The Safe Church Awareness workshop provides local volunteers and leaders with knowledge and understanding of our Safe Church policy and procedures.
