Annual General Meeting, Elections & Lunch
Everyone is welcome to stay after worship on Sunday 5th June for our AGM and Election of Elders and Congregation Office Bearers.  The Olive Harvest (collection of annual reports) will be published on Sunday 29th May.  Stay on after the AGM for lunch – please bring a plate to share.  It will be served in keeping with our current COVID hygiene practices.  Any questions contact Saide Cameron, 0407 096 743, Congregation Secretary.

Ecumenical Pentecost worship
We will worship with our ecumenical neighbours on Sunday 5th June, 5pm at Christ Church.  Please bring a plate of food to share for suppoer.  Monsignor Joe Takchi from the Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church will be the guest speaker.
The liturgy will be shaped by the worship resources from the National Council of Churches in Australia.

World Wide Knit in Public Day
Four hours of knitting and crocheting
for KOGO, 11th June in the BUC Hall.  Pop in to say hello even if you are not a knitter.

The Story from the Underside
UNOH (Urban Neighbourhoods of Hope) is excited to let you know about The Story From the Underside – a series of four online sessions hosted by Brad Coath (member of BUC)  taking a fresh look at Matthew’s story of Jesus. Tuesday May 31, June 7, 14 & 21.

Pop-up Op Shop
The FUNdraising Team and JAM committee is absolutely delighted to be promoting the return of one of our favourite
Pre-Covid traditions but with a twist.  The Op Shop will run from Sunday 22nd May through until Sunday 13th June and will be set up in the Olive Way space while the Olive Way program continues to operate from the Main Hall.  Find out more.

Church Heating
The gas heating for the church has been decommissioned.  The Property Committee is speaking with a number of suppliers to arrange for a new heating system to be installed.  This will take some time as the various steps of the process are followed through.  Please bring whatever you need to keep warm during worship.
