to be held after worship on 31st May.  Lots of jobs for all ages and abilities.  Lunch (soup & rolls) will be provided by generous volunteers.

Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week (NRW), 27th May to 3rd June, is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.  First Nations Focus have provided an installation for our Tower Room Window.

Uniting in Prayer
30 Days | 30 Voices | One Church in Prayer  From Pentecost Sunday on 24 May to the 49th Anniversary of the Uniting Church in Australia on 22 June, we (the whole Uniting Church) are embarking on a shared season of national prayer.

Annual General Meeting
Our AGM will be held after worship on Sunday 14th June.  The agenda will include receiving the Olive Harvest (collection of Annual Reports), Election of Elders and Congregation Office Bearers together with presentations from Church Council.   Additional agenda items are welcome.  Please offer your apologies if you are unable to attend.

Contemplative worship series – UPDATED
All are invited to an All-age open Contemplative Space at Dwell Church of Christ, Ascot Vale, Sunday 31st May, from 3-5pm. This gathering is an open one, drop in after 3pm stay as long as you need and we will wrap up with hot chips around the fire by 5pm .  This is the second in the series being offered by BUC and neighbouring congregations.

First Nations Focus

A collection of stories – a worship committee project.  This week you are invited to read the story of the Olive Tree, p20 and also the story of all the Olives that the tree has produced over the years.
