The Big Ride for Palestine
Tim and Meredith (Team Budge) are raising funds for Palestine, as part of The Big Ride for Palestine. They hope to raise over $1,000 for a project supporting Palestinian refugees in Lebanon by riding about 240km. This is the distance from Beirut to Jerusalem, although Palestinian refugees have no chance to returning to Jerusalem or their homeland.
If you would like to support this cause, please speak to Team Budge or click here
Food Co-op thank you
Thank you for donations to Olive Way in exchange for Rhubarb crowns and bean seeds at morning tea last week. Eleven dollars was passed on to the Finance Committee.
We haven’t had the opportunity to host a major FUNdraising event for the last two years. The Justice & Mission and FUNdraising committees are in the early stages of thinking about offering a Big 0 Birthday celebration some time in November. We’d love to hear from anyone who wants to be part of the ‘planning and hosting team’. Contact Saide to get involved, 0407 096 743.
