Worship this week
The worship space remains closed, with our worship service fully pre-recorded and and available on YouTube on 26/9. Join Ian for a chat after worship on Zoom.
Season of Creation
The Season of Creation will conclude at the end of September. Throughout this month you have been invited to make commitments in response to food consumption, energy use, travel, advocacy and financial investment. Visit BUC Household acts for Climate Justice for more information. Remember you can contribute all the actions you are already taking and/or take up something new. Be inspired by the lists of actions already noted on our graph. Keep sending your contributions in, take action doesn’t end with the Season of Creation.
The 5-yearly Children, Youth and Young Adults Ministry Review is underway. Tim Winkler is coordinating the review, and we’d love to hear your thoughts, to help shape the future. On Wednesday 29th September at 7:30pm there’s a session for anyone who hasn’t yet had a chance to share their thoughts on ministry we offer to Children, Youth and Young Adults. Join the Zoom meeting.
Emergence – Calling for submissions and volunteers
Our exhibition has been rescheduled to 5th-15th November. We hope that these new dates will provide more time for works to be created and to also allow us to create a companion virtual Exhbition. Watch Courtney’s invitation. To artists – please provide your intention to submit by 3rd October. To volunteers – please complete and send in the Volunteers Expression of Interest.
Statement from the Heart – Study invitation
The BUC Walking Together with First and Second Peoples Group invites anyone interested to join us in a study guide of the Uluru Statement from the Heart. We will present this study on the second Monday of each month at 7.30 pm, by zoom, starting on 11 October 2021. Find out more.
