Pick my project – Rainbow Connection
The Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre needs your help. In response to a need articulated by some of our clients, we are trying to get an LGBTIQ+ Asylum Seeker group off the ground.  We have put in for a grant through the Pick My Project grants initiative to help us with this.  However this initiative requires people to vote for our project in order to be successful.  This is where you come in.  If you live within 5KM of Brunswick, could you jump on to the Pick my Project website and vote for ‘Rainbow Connection’.  The provision of this program will help LGBTIQ asylum seekers access a safe and welcoming space, while providing them with workshops and training to assist them through their protection process.  And if you don’t live within 5km from Brunswick, but you know someone who does- please share with them!  Voting closes September 17th.  We really appreciate your support-thanks!

Image permissions
It’s time to update our image permission records database.  A few years ago out of respect for personal privacy Brunswick Uniting Church developed a policy regarding capture, storage and use of images (photography and video) at church worship, events and activities.   This policy includes the requirement that everyone who participates in the life of the congregation be asked to complete a form that would authorise the publication of images (photographs and videos) of them and/or their children or people in their care.
If you have not yet had the opportunity to complete this form you can do so here.
Please sign and return the form directly to Saide Cameron or scan and return it by email, saide.cameron@bigpond.com

Please note – if you have signed an image permission form in the past you do not need to do so again.
