Act2 Discussion forum
Everyone is invited to join Church Council members in an important discussion about the future of the Uniting Church after worship on 26th November. Members with experience of Presbytery, Synod, UCA agencies, and congregations in other places are especially welcome – we’d love to hear your wisdom!  If you can, please have a look beforehand at the Act2 report “In Response to God’s Call”.

Act2 National online Prayer Gathering
On Thursday 30 November, the Act2 Project team along with Assembly leaders will be hosting a national online prayer gathering to give thanks to God and pray for the leading of the Spirit as the Act2 Project closes one phase and moves into another.

Health & Safety support
Church Council is seeking support from the wider church community as we review our health and safety processes. We are looking for:
– Someone with experience or an interest in health and safety who would be willing to work with us on this health and safety review
– People with current first aid training who would be willing to be identified first aiders for our community

Olive Branch
Contributions to the December Olive Branch are due by Monday 27th November.  Start thinking now about stories, reports, photos, ideas that you would like to contribute to the final 2023 edition.  Send an email to Saide.  Look out for the Living Colour edition to be published on Sunday.

Uniting OpShop Opening
You are invited to the new Op Shop Hub in Brunswick.  The Hub will include offices for our Op Shop Leadership Team, a fit for purpose warehouse, meeting rooms, sorting rooms and an Op Shop.  The first phase of the project is an Op Shop which will open on Friday 1st December, 2pm -9pm. “Wild Man/Wise Man”: Men’s silent retreat.  
Fri 1st December, 5 pm-Mon 4th Dec 2024 3.30 pm, at St Paul’s Retreat Centre, Wantirna.
An invitation to step aside from the busyness of life to rest, reflect and listen to the deeper call of the Spirit for Life, meaning and purpose in the respectful company of other men.  Facilitated by Rev Tim McCowan and team from the WellSpring Centre.
