Ian on leave

Brunswick Residents Network 2022 Election Forum
Come along to meet, greet and quiz the candidates bidding for election at our regular and popular pre-election event. Candidates for Brunswick are invited to speak on key areas like planning, infrastructure and traffic on Thursday 20th October, 6:30pm at Brunswick UC.  More information here (scroll down)

Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival
The Festival is a celebration of cultural and faith diversity, bringing together people from all walks of life, and providing a great networking opportunity.  In 2022, the event will be hosted by the City of Boroondara and the Boroondara Interfaith Network, and held on Sunday 13th November @ the Hawthorn Arts Centre.  This year’s theme will focus on issues affecting young people.

FUNdraising Event
We haven’t had the opportunity to host a major FUNdraising event for the last two years.  The Justice & Mission and FUNdraising committees are looking forward to a Big 0 Birthday & Anniversary celebration on 19th November.  Complete the survey to get involved.

Website feature

Pages on the website are updated regularly.  This week we are featuring the Tower Room Window page. The Tower Room Window is used in a variety of ways during the year including celebrating liturgical seasons, marking important events (for example, the Yes campaign, Time for a home, Refugee Week, NAIDOC Week, World Wide Knit in Public Day and more) and showcasing the work of our artists and other community groups.  The Climate Action Group have provided the current installation.  Have a look and let us know what you think, responses to saide.cameron@bigpond.com.
