Stewart Lodge Carols
Come along and join in the fun of singing Christmas Carols at Stewart Lodge (a supported residential service located at 85 Stewart St. Brunswick) on Wednesday 18th December. We have had a long relationship with the former managers and a number of the residents over the years. The new managers are delighted to be continuing this tradition. Come along and sing through the little red book from 6:30pm. Celebrate with the residents as they receive their gift from us. Then stay on for a light supper. Please bring something delicious and nutritious to share.
Thank you to everyone who wrote on Christmas cards for the residents of Stewart Lodge and a special thank you to Leanne, Ann, Marilyn, Theo and Miranda from the Olive Arts Collective who provided the images for the cards.
Thank you also for the donations to the fund to buy the gift cards that we put into the Christmas cards. After much discussion we purchased gift cards from Savers as the gift for the residents. The manager was so delighted with our proposal to buy cards she also offered the residents a 20% off voucher to be used during January. And finally Jane Allardice has 64 $5 off vouchers to anyone who wants one. Please see Jane after worship on Sunday.
