Main hall floor works
The floor is being sanded and painted from 9th to 16th January.  During this time the hall and Olive Way are off limits.  The contents of the hall are being stored in the Olive Way and the Olive Way program has been relocated to the Youth Hall. We hope to be returning the spaces to their regular use on Saturday 19th January, 2-4pm.  Please be ready to help with the move and associated tidy up.  Please contact Ray Cameron, 0407 096 743, if you have any questions or concerns and/or to offer your assistance.

Worship arrangements for 13th January 
Morning Tea will be provided in the Gathering Space.  Tea and coffee will not be provided however food and jugs of cool refreshing water will be.
The Olive Way is off limits.  Please ensure that children do not enter this space.
Toilets can be accessed from the ramp at the back of the hall.  Please do not attempt to enter the hall or main kitchen.

Ian’s Leave
Ian will be on leave from 31st December to 21st January.

BUC Cycle
scheduled for after worship on Sunday 13th January has been postponed until a date to be set.

Food Co-op
will not operate in January.  We recommence on Saturday 16th February between 10 am and 12 noon.

Worship roster
The February & March roster will be available on Sunday 27th January.  If you are a regular participant please respond to the email sent on Thursday 10th January. We have rosters for liturgy, music, Bible reading, leading Prayers of the People, Welcoming, Morning Tea and Morning Tea Helper, Flowers, Sound System and Laptop operators, minding the Olive Way Door.  You can be on just once every two months, more often and more than one roster if you wish. If you would like to participate on the roster please contact Saide, 0407 096 743 for more information.

The Olive Arts Collective
We will start back in the Youth Hall of Brunswick Uniting Church on 23rd January 2019 at our usual time of 10am – 12noon.
On 16th January, we will visit the NGV and view the Escher exhibition.

  • Meet at Brunswick Uniting Church at 10.30am and travel as a group by tram (19) to Flinders Station and walk to NGV

  • Meet us in the NGV at 11.30am – water feature at the entrance of NGV.
