Election of Elders
The Church Council has oversight of the ministry and mission of the congregation and is served in this work by an extensive committee structure.  Nominations for the role of Elder and member of the Church Council are now called.  The Election will be conducted as part of our Annual General meeting on Sunday 2nd June.  Nominations open on Thursday 9th May and close on Sunday 19th May.  Details and nomination form available here.

Ecumenical Pentecost worship service

URGENT: Stop Labor’s Entry Ban and Deportation Bill. This bill will likely be tabled next week and is a huge threat to refugee rights in Australia, allowing the government to send people to jail for refusing to be deported to places where they will be persecuted. Even the Coalition government is saying it has gone too far. Please raise your voice and call for the bill to be rejected in full. (Shared by the Love Makes a Way group.)

In response to the harrowing developments on the ground in Gaza Amnesty International is calling directly on Defence Minister, Richard Marles to not allow the export of any weapons or parts to Israel, sending a clear message that the Australian government will not accept its continued carnage.   To support this action send an email to the Defence Minister.
