Children and teenagers are a really important part of our community.
We encourage their participation and growth in faith in two ways:
All Age Worship
On the first Sunday of each month, children participate in the whole liturgy – e.g. lighting the Christ candle, leading prayers, setting the table and collecting the glasses during Holy Communion. They participate in quiet art-making activities in the Gathering Space during the sermon.
Sunday Morning Program
On most other Sundays, children are present and often actively involved in the first part of the service. Then they participate in an engaging and diverse program of faith-nurturing activities, in three age groups, rejoining the adults at morning tea. Read more
