The FUNdraising committee has been putting the FUN into FUNdraising since 2012. We believe that FUNdraising, at its best, should bring the community together to have fun, celebrate our abundance, help us to learn about people and programs in need and provide support where it is needed. We organise two or three major community focussed events a year and stalls after worship once each term.

We typically raise money for our Olive Way program, the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre and one other target decided in consultation with the JAM committee.  We also participate in the Lenten, Share and Christmas Bowl Appeals.

We’ve enjoyed Dinner Parties, Bush Dances, a Karaoke night, Trivia Nights, Delightful Sunday Afternoons, Auctions, Big Gigs and Concerts.  In addition to the main events we’ve raised money through Preserves & Cake stalls, silent auctions, bargain tables, cloths & book swaps.

Over the last five years we’ve FUNdraised quite a lot of money to give away.  2016 was quite an amazing year with the abundant generosity of our congregation clearly evident – $29,713.50.  This was a fabulous amount of money.
