POSTPONED pending return from lockdown

The First Nations Solidarity Group (a task group established by Church Council) met with Uncle Andrew Gardiner on 14th May as part of our congregation’s commitment to develop a relationship with the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung Corporation. He was very interested in the idea of developing some form of agreement, in the spirit of “treaty-making” at all levels, between us and them. He invited us to consider what we thought might be appropriate to include in such an agreement.

The FNSG invites you to join us for a discussion and workshop, after worship on Sunday 29th August.  Please come along to share your thoughts about what kind of agreement would be appropriate, what it might say, and how we might have a closer relationship with the traditional owners of this land.
