Worship 4/10
October 4 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am
Welcome to worship. Today is the final week of the Season of Creation. We have been focusing on what it is to love our neighbour in all sorts of ways including the more than human world. Today we will focus in on our neighbours in the Pacific. This is timely because we are in the lead up to the international meeting on climate change ‘the Pre-COP’ happening in Fiji this coming week. We will also mark St Francis Day and celebrate communion together.
Our Bible readings this week will be: Matthew 21:33-46 and Isaiah 5:1-7
You are invited to consider these three questions as you read them in preparation for worship:
- What questions do you have about the passage(s)?
- What things strike you most in the passage(s)?
- What is one thing you want to take away from the passage(s)?
