Worship 12/7
July 12 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Welcome to worship. We welcome Ruthann Richardson from Act for Peace to share a little of the important work being done with partners overseas and Peter Blair, our Olive Way Pastor as our preacher. Peter will explore what it means to be God’s people as we listen to the story of Jacob and Esau and the parable of the sower and the seed told by Jesus.
Our Bible readings this week will be: Genesis 25:19-34 and Matthew 13:1-9,18-23
The Discipleship & Education Committee invites you to reflect on these questions in preparation for worship:
- What questions do you have about the passage(s)?
- What things strike you most in the passage(s)?
- What is one thing you want to take away from the passage(s)?
