Praying during Holy Week

We invite you to join us for prayer during Holy Week.
To prepare we invite you to set aside a sacred space for the week. This might be a corner, by a window, a table, inside or outside. Place a Bible and a cross if you have one in the space.
If you can you might like to decorate the space with the liturgical colours for the season:
- Palm Sunday – purple or red
- Monday through to Maundy Thursday – purple
- Good Friday & Holy Saturday – black
- Easter Day – white
If you have big pieces of cloth in these colours you might also like to hang them from a window that faces the street, letting your neighbourhood know that this is a sacred time.
We will offer and share prayers during worship on
- Palm Sunday, 5th April 9:30am
- Maundy Thursday, 9th April, 7:30pm
- Good Friday, 10th April, 9:30am
- Easter Day, 12th April, 9:30am
We have offered prayers during Holy Week
- Monday with Saide Cameron, liturgist & member of the worship committee
- Tuesday with Dave Hall, Children, Youth & Young Adult Pastor
- Wednesday with Peter Blair
On Saturday 11th April, 10am, Peter McKinnon, prayers of the people leader, will offer prayers.
