Lenten Meditation

The Stations of the Cross are an important spiritual and devotional entry into the experience of Jesus’ trial, death, and resurrection. This year we take a meditative journey into Jesus’ experience as told in Luke’s gospel.

The sessions will draw on key scriptures that connect to the Stations to introduce some essential concerns and experiences of Christian spiritual practice.  This week:  Luke 23:1-25 and Psalm 37:1-8, 39-40

Practices include: psalmody (spoken prayer), divine reading (Lectio Divina), and contemplative prayer, these provide ways to focus our hearts and open ourselves to the Sacred.

Hybrid sessions in person at the church and remotely on Zoom.
