As encouraged by the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress, this worship service will reflect on the effects of invasion and colonisation of Australia’s First Peoples, giving expression to our commitment to truth-telling, justice & healing on the Sunday after 26th January, Invasion Day, a Day of Mourning for First Nations peoples. Some of the resources in this service are taken from Uniting Church Australia, Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress (UAICC) and the Common Grace movement.
