Ash Wednesday

Join us for worship as we begin the Season of Lent on Ash Wednesday. Lent is that period of forty weekdays and six Sundays that echoes the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness of testing.  During this time we engage in prayer and preparation for Easter, following Jesus along the way of the cross and renewing our commitment to him. This year our Ash Wednesday service will be outside (weather permitting). Meet by the indigenous sculpture on the corner of Merri St and Sydney Rd. From there we will make our way around into the courtyard to gather around a fire.
