Art for the Heart

Art for the Heart is an art exhibition that honours the use of creativity as a powerful source of healing and expression. It offers a space for people to tell their stories of loss, love & hope in new ways and to bring the community together to share the often hidden experiences of grief. This year the exhibition is held in October 6-11 at the Meat Market Hall in North Melbourne.
Proceeds from sales will go to Uniting VicTas
What can I do?
Take part in this exhibition by submitting a piece in any creative form. eg a piece of knitting through to photography and writing.
How?
One more Sunday after worship in the youth hall – August 5
Ann Soo will facilitate these four sessions in a safe and reflective space. All materials supplied or bring your own
The sessions will be for one and half hours from 11.00am – 12.30pm.
Works can be individual or collective and support will be offered as desired
Suggestions have been a group felt or group collage and individual works also encouraged. First meeting to discuss these and other possibilities.
Works can be submitted for exhibition if desired but not compulsory.
The focus is on using art making and not about artistic merit but living from the heart
