We celebrated Christmas in four wonderful and unique ways …

Blue Christmas
Read the Order of Service.  This service was not live-streamed.  The OOS includes links to the musicians singing.

Christmas Eve Pageant
Read the pageant booklet here.  Watch here.
We joined Donkey as they took us on a ‘Christmas Creature Adventure’ to help Mary & Joseph find their way to Bethlehem.

We support the Act for Peace Ecumenical Christmas Bowl Appeal which funds a wide variety of projects:

  • Hope for families forced to flee their country – Ukraine
  • Peace through food rations – Syria
  • Sharing God’s love this Christmas – Zimbabwe
  • Waiting to return home – Sri Lanka
  • Meeting basic needs – Kenya

Christmas Eve, 11:30pm

Saide Cameron welcomed us to worship in the quiet darkness.  Following on from the pageant we listened to the voices of creation as they speak to us of the Christmas gifts of hope, peace, joy and love.  We filled the church with candlelight as prepared to light the Christ Candle and celebrate Holy Communion.

Christmas Day – Christ is born!

Kirsty Bennett welcomed us to worship.  As we celebrated the Christ child’s birth, we reflected on the place where he was born, and the stories we tell.
