Our congregation is a foundation sponsor of the PIEN 2018 Speaking Tour. The focus of this speaking tour of a prominent Palestinian Christian will be to change public attitudes towards the Middle East.  The speaker will engage with congregations, journalists and politicians about the reality of life for Palestinians with a view to seeking support from the public to encourage politicians to develop a more balanced policy, and to seek a genuine, sustainable peace between Palestine and Israel. Our church has the chance to be a leader in changing public attitudes on this situation.

We only have to remember other situations of seeming intractability (South Africa, Timor Leste, the Berlin Wall, Ireland) to encourage us to continue the vital work of praying for and seeking peace for Palestine-Israel.
